Great Places 2017

In 2013, the Sensible Land Use Coalition (SLUC) launched an initiative to identify Great Places in the Twin Cities region. The goal is to raise up those elements of a place that made it great, and thereby foster the development of more Great Places.


In response to current and past comments on the initiative, this year SLUC invited Cities and their partners to submit their Great Place for consideration.

Projects nominated were:
